Description For Electrical Engineer - Pyrolysis

Charm Industrial is on a mission to combat climate change by returning the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂. The company has made significant strides since 2020, successfully removing thousands of tons of carbon and expanding to three locations across the US. They're seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their pyrolysis engineering team in Colorado.

The role involves hands-on work with control systems and electrical engineering, focusing on designing and implementing control boxes for novel pyrolysis hardware. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly with high-voltage systems and automation control cabinets.

This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge climate technology while being part of a mission-driven team. The company values psychological safety, collaboration, and learning from mistakes. They offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact on climate change.

The work environment is hands-on and dynamic, requiring both technical expertise and physical capabilities. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with various engineering teams, contributing to the company's goal of becoming one of the first to put 10,000 tons of carbon back underground.

Join a company that's not just talking about climate change but actively working to reverse it, with backing from major customers like Stripe, Shopify, and Microsoft. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenge and environmental impact.
