Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer - Pyrolysis
- Prototype and iterate on next generation of Charm pyrolyzers
- Own large portions of the pyrolyzer system design
- Source components and work with contract manufacturers
- Operate pyrolyzer in test conditions and evaluate design success
- Work alongside cross-functional team
- Support 24/7 operations via 2-3 weeks of after hours support throughout the year
Requirements For Mechanical Engineer - Pyrolysis
- Strong mechanical engineering experience with first principles and safety-forward design
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping
- CAD proficiency (Solidworks)
- Familiar with GD&T principles and basic fabrication techniques
- Resourceful problem-solving abilities
- Self-directed mentality
- Experience working with in-house and out-of-house fabrication
