Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer - Pyrolysis

  • Prototype and iterate on next generation of Charm pyrolyzers
  • Own large portions of the pyrolyzer system design
  • Source components and work with contract manufacturers
  • Operate pyrolyzer in test conditions and evaluate design success
  • Work alongside cross-functional team
  • Support 24/7 operations via 2-3 weeks of after hours support throughout the year

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer - Pyrolysis

  • Strong mechanical engineering experience with first principles and safety-forward design
  • Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping
  • CAD proficiency (Solidworks)
  • Familiar with GD&T principles and basic fabrication techniques
  • Resourceful problem-solving abilities
  • Self-directed mentality
  • Experience working with in-house and out-of-house fabrication
