Responsibilities For Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

  • Design and develop embedded systems with a focus on low power consumption, mass/volume constraints, and small form-factor
  • Create and optimize hardware and firmware for embedded devices
  • Design and implement flex and rigid PCB layouts
  • Develop and prototype wireless communication solutions
  • Interface with machine learning research staff, data engineers, and battery engineers
  • Drive fast-paced development and prototyping of new concepts
  • Evaluate and manage cost considerations throughout the development cycle
  • Maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of existing embedded systems
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements For Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) Design
  • Proven track record in developing embedded systems
  • Strong experience in designing low power, small form-factor devices
  • Proficiency in flex and rigid PCB design
  • Experience in fast-paced development environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Regulatory compliance experience in auto industry (Nice to Have)
  • Mechanical design experience with MEMS (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with ISM Band Communications and Sensor Deployment (Nice to Have)
