Christopherson Business Travel, a globally recognized leader in Travel Management, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their Technology team. This role combines end-user IT support with application support for both third-party and proprietary systems. The position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing support through multiple channels including phone, email, in-person, and remote sessions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills across Windows and Mac environments, experience with device management solutions, and excellent customer service abilities. They will be responsible for managing service desk requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining documentation. Responsibilities For IT Support Engineer

  • Prioritize, evaluate, track and resolve Service Desk requests
  • Maintain user guides and self-service documentation
  • Support and troubleshoot customer issues both hardware and software related
  • Perform basic system and application administration/configuration tasks
  • Escalate requests when additional technical expertise is required
  • Assist in technical projects as needed
  • Seek opportunity to teach and learn from other team members

Requirements For IT Support Engineer

Java
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with IT and/or Application support over the phone and in person
  • Experience troubleshooting proprietary software applications
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, MacOS, Office 365, modern browsers
  • Experience with device management solutions like Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and Apple Business Manager
  • Basic computer hardware and networking configuration skills
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism while assisting users in stressful situations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Bachelor of Science degree and/or technical certifications (preferred)
  • Experience with Atlassian products (preferred)
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration (preferred)
  • Experience with SQL, C# and/or Java (preferred)
