Senior Data Developer

CI&T is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Data Developer to join their growing team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to drive data analytics and machine learning solutions for global clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability
• Integrating data quality into data pipelines
• Developing CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes
• Implementing dimensional data modeling
• Implementing Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions
• Implementing Data Governance practices (catalog, lineage, etc)
• Applying FinOps principles to optimize data costs

The ideal candidate should have:

• Good English communication skills
• Experience working with international clients
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong background in data engineering with modern data stacks
• Experience in cloud environments using SQL and/or Spark
• Experience with Azure and cloud-based data services
• Familiarity with Data Quality practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes
• Expertise in dimensional data modeling
• Experience with Data Lake/Data Warehouse implementations
• Understanding of Data Governance principles
• Knowledge of FinOps as applied to the data space
