The role involves working with complex data systems, implementing data strategies, and building robust ETL pipelines. Responsibilities For Senior Data Developer
- Participate in defining and implementing data strategy
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for business decisions
- Ensure data validation, accuracy, and integrity in all dashboards and reports
- Work with business areas to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Integrate data from various sources including APIs, relational and non-relational databases
- Collaborate with data engineers and team members to ensure integration, availability, and optimize data solution performance
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
- Design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines
- Monitor and continuously improve data pipeline performance and scalability
- Ensure data governance standards and best practices
Requirements For Senior Data Developer
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python and SQL
- Experience with Python for data (gathering, cleaning, transformation, joining, reading and writing data frames)
- Experience with Jupyter Notebook development environment
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Code versioning culture and Git proficiency
- Familiarity with big data tools and technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and AWS/GCP/Azure
- Experience with Databricks and PySpark
- Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Airflow
- Knowledge of data modeling, query optimization and performance tuning
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
