Senior Java Developer

CI&T is seeking a Senior Java Developer located in Brazil to join their team. This role involves structuring and managing technical refinements, creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, supporting the Squad Leader in team planning, and actively participating in rituals to understand technical needs. The ideal candidate will provide insights into developing scalable and high-performance solutions, support team members' technical and behavioral evolution, integrate systems, code automated tests, and ensure adherence to best practices through code reviews.

Key responsibilities include:

• Structuring and managing technical refinements
• Creating and maintaining architecture artifacts
• Supporting Squad Leader in team planning
• Participating in rituals to understand technical needs
• Providing insights for scalable and high-performance solutions
• Supporting team members' technical and behavioral growth
• Integrating systems (retrieving, transforming, and sending information)
• Coding automated tests (TDD) for quality assurance
• Structuring and supporting code reviews

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java 17+
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Cloud computing knowledge
• Expertise in microservices architecture and design patterns
• API development skills in Java
• Relational database experience
• Automated testing using the testing pyramid strategy
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to structure technical demands and refine stories
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Advanced English language skills

Differentiating factors include knowledge of Azure Cloud, familiarity with the Camunda framework, and experience with Apache Cassandra.
