Senior Python Developer

CI&T is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team in Brazil. This role is part of a project in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate on developing and improving the front-end using React, while also working with Python and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Python, Node.js, and React
• Create, optimize, and implement effective prompts to streamline and enhance software development processes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Participate in code reviews and ensure software quality
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Document processes and technical solutions
• Stay updated on new technologies and development trends

Requirements:

• Solid experience in development with Python (Django, Flask, Pytest or similar)
• Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks (Express, NestJS or similar)
• Mastery of React for front-end application development
• Understanding and practical experience with fundamental AI models such as GPT, Claude, or similar
• Experience working with Azure Cloud Provider
• Experience with NoSQL and Vector databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Azure Search)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Proactivity and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Experience with microservices
• Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) practices
