CIeNET International, a global leader in automotive software services, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Control Engineer for their automotive assembly plant. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to improve vehicle quality through defect prevention and process control implementation. The position requires rotating shifts including days (7am-3pm), afternoons (3pm-11pm), and potentially nights (11pm-7am), including weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting build issues, implementing error-proofing solutions, managing quality documentation, and working on risk reduction activities.

Key responsibilities include maintaining PFMEA databases, responding to Global Customer Audit calls, implementing Built In Quality (BIQ) basketweave, and managing team leader quality checks. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process control, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.

Responsibilities For Manufacturing Process Control Engineer - Automotive Manufacturing & Engineering

  • Troubleshoot build issues that impact Safety, Direct Run Rate (DRR), Direct Run Loss (DRL), and uptime
  • Work with maintenance on error proofing concept, implementation, and validation (UAT)
  • Review warranty calls and implement countermeasures
  • Update department documentation
  • Work on risk reduction activities using PFMEAs
  • Maintain PFMEA database
  • Respond to Global Customer Audit (GCA) calls
  • Implement and maintain all PCP and T&E Bulletin requirements
  • Develop and manage team leader quality checks (COSKs)
  • Setup containment activities
  • Evaluate risks during Plant Floor Change Management (PFCM) process

Requirements For Manufacturing Process Control Engineer - Automotive Manufacturing & Engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process control within a manufacturing setting
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Fundamental knowledge of processes within the automotive industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate within a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
