Description For Lead Technical Program Manager, Developer Marketing

Circle is a financial technology company at the epicenter of the emerging internet of money, where value can finally travel like other digital data — globally, nearly instantly and less expensively than legacy settlement systems. This ground-breaking new internet layer opens up previously unimaginable possibilities for payments, commerce and markets that can help raise global economic prosperity and enhance inclusion. Our infrastructure – including USDC, a blockchain-based dollar – helps businesses, institutions and developers harness these breakthroughs and capitalize on this major turning point in the evolution of money and technology.

As a Principal Program Manager in the Product organization, you will lead the coordination and execution of complex product development projects that deliver on Circle's product roadmap. You will define durable processes for the broader team, create project plans, lead project team activities, track progress, and monitor and communicate project status. You are the glue that holds teams together - always ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

What you'll work on:

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects in planning and flight to coordinate our cross-functional team strategies into a cohesive plan
  • Help define durable processes for the broader team for things like OKR planning, status reporting, releasing plans, etc.
  • Lead programs by managing program structure, scope, release planning, as well as ensuring cross-functional alignment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive workgroup alignment meetings in order to address tactical release issues, dependencies, program status, milestones, etc.
  • Organize and lead project meetings and compile project status reports to drive deliverables to schedule, as well as develop resolutions to mitigate risks
  • Establish strong relationships with all project stakeholders including team members and leadership
  • Establish and improve internal processes where necessary

What you'll bring to Circle:

  • You are a natural leader who is solutions and delivery-focused
  • You have 12+ years of project management or technical program management experience
  • You are a fantastic communicator both verbally and in writing. You are comfortable interfacing with executives, as well as product managers and developers
  • You have a proven track record of leading diverse, cross-functional project teams in the successful launch of new products or services
  • You have outstanding change management skills and the ability to lead teams through change
  • You are passionate about processes and continuously improving internal workflows
  • You are detail-oriented, highly analytical and a skilled multi-tasker
  • You are self-motivated, attentive, and always follow through
  • You have a basic understanding of crypto assets and blockchain technology, and a strong desire to learn more. You are passionate about bringing this technology to the mainstream
  • Additional PMI/Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Macbook preferred

This position offers a competitive salary range of $145,000-$192,500, an annual bonus target of 15%, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy and provides 10 days of paid sick leave and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
