Description For Analog/mixed-signal IC Design - Technical Lead - Acacia

Acacia, a part of Cisco, designs intelligent transceivers using advanced signal processing and photonic integration for high-speed fiber optic transmission markets. As a Technical Lead in the Mixed Signal Design team, you will play a key role in developing high-speed (>25Gb/s) and high-accuracy analog designs for optical communications products. You'll architect, design, layout, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products.

Your responsibilities include leading efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentoring team members, tracking deliverables, participating in peer reviews, and providing solid design methodology from conception to production. You'll collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met.

You'll work in a collaborative environment with other Acacia mixed-signal engineers and interact with various groups including digital/DSP design, system design, package design, and module design. This role requires enthusiasm for developing high-speed AMS circuits and best-in-class products that push the boundaries of what's possible. You should be detail-oriented, high-energy, and driven to solve difficult problems.

The ideal candidate is capable of working independently but also thrives in a team-oriented environment, enjoying learning from colleagues and sharing knowledge. Strong communication skills are essential for effortless collaboration within and across teams.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the field of optical communications, with a focus on high-speed analog and mixed-signal design. You'll be part of a dynamic team pushing the limits of what's possible in fiber optic transmission technology.
