ASIC Design/DV Engineer -Shanghai-Sourcing

Cisco CRDC (China R&D Center) ASIC group is seeking an ASIC Design/DV Engineer for their Shanghai team. The role involves working on cutting-edge methodologies and technologies to develop ASICs for Data Center, switching, routing, and security products. The team has full-scale capabilities in architecture, design, DV, PD, and system bring-up, and is currently working on next-Gen chips with consolidated Silicon One architecture.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and implementing complex ASICs
2. Participating in architecture definition, implementation, and verification phases
3. Creating detailed design specifications and test plans
4. Designing and implementing block-level RTL, performing synthesis, and achieving timing closure goals
5. Developing test benches and creating test cases
6. Working with cross-functional teams
7. Assisting in complex subsystem level lab bring-up, integration, and unit test verification
8. China customer enablement on pre-sales, system development, SDK/ASIC validation

The ideal candidate should have:

1. 1-3 years of relevant experience with knowledge of UVM, Verilog, SystemVerilog, C, C++
2. Proficiency in utilizing Verilog/System Verilog for complex logic designs
3. Ability to create clean code using best practices of software design
4. Knowledge of Unix and scripting tools (preferred)
5. Knowledge of networking (preferred)
6. Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Mandarin
7. Self-motivation, teamwork, and strong communication skills
