As a Customer Delivery Architect at Cisco, you'll be part of the Customer Experience (CX) team, one of the highest-growing areas at Cisco. You'll work directly with the Customer Experience Delivery Team, focusing on the installation, integration, customization, and delivery of Cisco's software products for cloud and networking orchestration and automation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Positioning, architecting, and delivering service solutions around Cisco's Enterprise technologies
- Integrating solutions into customers' overall data center architecture and design
- Driving sales and serving as a data center subject matter expert
- Leading delivery efforts and mentoring other technical consultants
- Interacting with Cisco's premier customers, with travel requirements of 10-35% of the time
You'll work across Enterprise, commercial, and Service Provider segments, solving complex problems and driving innovation. The role requires a deep technical expertise in Cisco's Enterprise products and solutions, with a focus on SDWAN, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Software-Defined Access (SDA).
Key qualifications include:
- BS in a technical field (CS/EE) or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading large-scale Enterprise Design and Implementation Engagements
- Expertise in Enterprise Routing and Switching technologies
- Experience in Programming and Automation
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Preferred qualifications:
- CCIE certification (R/S, SP, Security, or Data Center)
- Cisco DevNet certification
- Knowledge of wireless and ISE technologies
- Experience with Network Segmentation and TrustSec

Responsibilities For Customer Delivery Architect
- Position, architect and deliver service solutions around Cisco's Enterprise technologies
- Integrate solutions into customer's overall data center architecture and design
- Drive sales and serve as data center subject matter expert
- Lead delivery efforts and mentor other technical consultants
- Interact with Cisco's premier customers, with travel requirements of 10-35% of the time
- Solve complex customer problems in support of critical issues
- Continuously learn and strengthen technical skills for relevant technical domains
- Create automation for network configurations from Low Level Design for highly complex networks
- Plan and execute highly complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity
- Provide technical expertise and escalation support in documenting and resolving technical problems
Requirements For Customer Delivery Architect
- BS in a technical field (CS/EE) or equivalent with 8+ years related experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading large scale Enterprise Design and Implementation Engagements
- Experience in Cisco SDWAN, Cisco Catalyst Center and SDA
- Expertise in Enterprise Routing and Switching technologies
- Experience in Programming and Automation
- Demonstrated knowledge of Campus Networking environments
- 5+ years of experience in consulting roles
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
