Description For Hardware Engineer III (Full Time)

Cisco is seeking a Hardware Engineer III to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to impact product development from circuit design to large system design, seeing your contributions through to high-volume manufacturing. You'll work with open-minded, driven, diverse, and creative people who design hardware that makes the internet work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple tasks and work toward long-term goals
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Establish and sustain positive relationships with an extended team
  • Contribute to various areas of hardware engineering, including ASIC Design and Verification, System/Board Design, Circuit Board Layout, Hardware Automation, Validation and Test, Signal Integrity, and Power Design

Qualifications:

  • Recent PhD graduate or in final year of studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields like Math or Physics
  • Demonstrated top technical expertise through journal publications, conference participation, and previous experience (internships or full-time roles)
  • Strong recommendations from professors, Cisco Distinguished Engineers, and Fellows
