Hardware Engineer- Intern - Shanghai - Sourcing

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer Intern to join the Enterprise Switching HW team in Cisco CRDC (China R&D Center), Shanghai. You will have the opportunity to work with talented engineers at Cisco to develop Enterprise Switching Hardware using cutting-edge technology and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in real hardware development processes, including HW spec, schematic design, logical design, SI measurement, HW function verification test, test environment setup, and test script development.
• Collaborate closely with ECAD, Mech, SI, Power, diagnostics, and SW teams for development.
• Assist in HW Lab test facility set-up and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Solid technical knowledge of digital/analog circuit design, familiar with basic board development tools and processes.
• Familiarity with Xilinx or Altera logic devices and relevant logical design tools/processes.
• Fundamental knowledge of signal integrity and understanding of high-speed digital design.
• Familiarity with script coding is a plus.
• Proactive and willing to take on challenges.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Working Time Requirements:

• At least 3 working days (Monday to Friday) per week
• 9:00 am - 6:00 pm per day

Educational Background: EE, Computer Science, Communication, Automation, or relevant major preferred
