Software Engineer - Master's (New Grad) - India UHR (0-3 years)

Cisco Next Generation Fire Power Threat Defence (FTD) is the flagship product from Security Business Group (SBG). FTD integrates award-winning ASA Firewall services and world's best & well known IPS engine SNORT into a high-performance appliance. It is an extremely successful product and continues to lead the market with threat-centric focus and market differentiating features. The FTD team in India is looking for talented and motivated individuals to work on leading security and threat mitigation solutions that are highly scalable and easily manageable.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of experience in Networking/Security Domain Development & Testing, proven as a domain expert
• Proficient in TCP/IP Networking, Routing Protocols, Access Control Policies, NAT, Carrier grade NAT, VPN, ZTNA, L3-L7 Inspection, Network management, IPv6
• Expertise in Network security (Intrusion prevention / Intrusion detection / NAT / Access-list / IPSEC and SSL VPN / TLS)
• Experience and knowledge on Routing & Switching (OSPF / BGP / EIGRP / VLAN / STP / DHCP / multicast)
• Experience with Virtual technologies (ESXi, KVM, AWS, Azure, OCI)
• Hands-on experience with Legitimate and Malware Application Traffic generator tools, Linux, Windows, Packet tracer, Wireshark and tcpdump Tools
• Familiarity with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet products preferred
• Strong automation background on Python, Java, etc.
• Experience in UI & API based test automation
• Experience in DevOps, Continuous integration and Continuous delivery tools

What You'll Do:

• Participate in designing, delivery and testing of New/Existing Functionality in the Product
• Work on Scaling new platforms, Control Plane Scaling and Data Plane scaling
• Focus on deep internal aspects of the feature and its integration with the OS
• Learn new features, technologies and platforms in a relatively short amount of time
• Automate tests using FTL and Integrate them into Regression
• Work closely with customer support to provide timely resolution of problems
