Software Engineer | 1-3 years | Networking and Security Programming Concepts

Cisco Security Business Group (SBG) is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Cloud Security team. This role is part of a rapidly growing division with 100% YoY growth, operating like a startup within Cisco. The team manages a highly scalable cloud infrastructure across 40 data centers, handling 100B+ requests per day from 65M daily active users.

The Cloud Security group focuses on developing cloud-delivered security solutions (SaaS-based) using a platform-centric approach. This autonomous group was formed by combining existing cloud assets with successful acquisitions of OpenDNS and CloudLock. Their mission is to build complex security solutions in a cloud-delivered way while maintaining simplicity and ease of deployment.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Go, Python, and Kubernetes to develop and maintain features for Cisco Secure Access. You'll be part of a team that's addressing modern security challenges in a world where traditional perimeter-based security is being reinvented due to the increase in remote users, BYOD, and cloud-based applications.
