Software Engineering Technical Leader, SaaS Backend - Nexus HyperFabric

The SaaS Engineering organization within the Cisco Networking Group is seeking a Software Engineering Technical Leader for their SaaS Backend team, focusing on the Nexus HyperFabric project. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing the deployment of generative AI applications and improving IT visibility and analytics for the AI infrastructure stack.

As a Software Engineering Technical Leader, you will be responsible for developing backend software for a production cloud service that simplifies the deployment of generative AI applications. Your work will directly contribute to providing comprehensive IT visibility and analytics across the entire AI infrastructure stack.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing and developing features from requirement analysis to execution
2. Ensuring quality throughout the development and deployment pipeline
3. Working with CI/CD cloud service deployment

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of development experience with Go, C/C++, Java, and/or Python
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Recent experience (within 2 years) building components/agents for networking OS
• Familiarity with AWS, Linux, Virtualization, and HTTP/HTTPS
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture (preferred)
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
