Solutions Engineer - Hypershield

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for their Cloud & Application Security Incubation team. This elite technical pre-sales role is responsible for driving the success of Cisco's Cloud Security and Application Portfolio, including Multicloud Defense, Secure Workload, and Panoptica product lines. The focus is on protecting Customer Application Environments across various platforms (on-premises, cloud) and architectures (bare metal, VM, containers).

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with BU and GTM teams to ensure market success of incubated Cloud & AppSec products
• Conducting technical presentations and demonstrations
• Forming relationships with key decision-makers and positioning Cisco solutions
• Crafting architectures and configuring products to meet specific customer needs
• Leading technical aspects of pre-sales activities through successful deployment

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of technical experience in pre-sales engineering, network operations support, or application engineering
• 5+ years of enterprise pre-sales experience with network, cloud security, and/or micro-segmentation products
• Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, Cloud Security technologies
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Familiarity with security principles related to microservices architecture and serverless computing
• Understanding of competitive products and ability to articulate Cisco differentiators
