Solutions Engineer - Service Provider Japan

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for their Service Provider division in Japan. This role focuses on pre-sales activities for Data Center Networking, utilizing Cisco's wide range of products and services to solve customer challenges and expand business. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams, service departments, technical support, and headquarters development teams to contribute to the business from a technical perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trust relationships with assigned customers
• Identify and organize customer challenges and technical requirements
• Design and propose optimal Cisco solutions
• Create proposal materials and deliver presentations
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations and Proof of Concept (PoC) implementations
• Respond to technical inquiries
• Collaborate with domestic and international teams on business deals
• Develop differentiated proposals against competitors

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a solutions engineer for network products
• Cisco professional-level certification (CCNP) or equivalent
• Experience with PoC, demonstrations, and verification processes
• Fluent Japanese communication skills
