Description For Sr. Sourcing Commodity Manager, GPU

Cisco Global Supplier Management (GSM) team is seeking a motivated Sr. Sourcing Commodity Manager for GPU's. You will be part of a highly impactful and dynamic organization collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primary contact and focal point to the Business Units to address all sourcing and supplier NPI management issues for the technologies assigned
  • Collaborate with Business Unit partners to understand the long-term requirements, mapping requirements into supply base offerings
  • Lead and orchestrate roadmap reviews between engineering and suppliers, find solutions, build proposals, and implement them to meet business requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies for sourcing GPUs that align with overall corporate objectives
  • Act as an advocate for the Business Units to shape and evolve commodity strategy
  • Negotiate and implement sourcing decisions, risk assessment/mitigation and alternate technical solution development
  • Oversee large, complex programs consisting of multiple locations and Business Units

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience Technical or MS degree
  • 10+ years of cross-functional supply chain experience
  • 5+ years of experience with collaboration, communications, negotiations, facilitation, and contracts review
  • 5+ years of proven experience working with GPU specifications, performance metrics, fabrication processes, and applications
  • Knowledge of technological developments in AI/ML/computer vision hardware acceleration, market trends and suppliers
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management requirements
  • Ability to work across boundaries, earn trust, take risks, and be inclusive
