Description For SW Engineering Technical Leader - Nexus HyperFabric - SaaS QA Automation

The SaaS Engineering organization within the Cisco Networking Group is seeking a SW Engineering Technical Leader for their Nexus HyperFabric - SaaS QA Automation team. This role involves working on Cisco HyperFabric, an innovative cloud-operated AI cluster solution that provides customers with a unified compute and networking fabric, along with a management system for easily deployable, scalable, and manageable AI/ML solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing test strategies for cloud service solutions
  • Automating provisioning of services in test environments
  • Working with virtualized instances for scale testing
  • Coding in various programming languages to automate tests for the full solution
  • Designing and implementing automation frameworks
  • Building and deploying CI automation pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 8+ years of Automation/QA experience
  • Experience with Python, pyTest, and pyATS
  • Experience in testing web services using Selenium
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, AWS, Linux, Virtualization, and HTTP/HTTPS
  • Strong software development skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git, JIRA, and database solutions
