Capital Delivery Professional Engineer

The City of Fort Worth, one of the fastest-growing large cities in the U.S., is seeking a Capital Delivery Professional Engineer to join their Water Capital Delivery team. The position comes with a competitive salary range of $78,333 to $101,816 annually, plus an attractive $5,400 sign-on bonus split between the first pay period and 6-month employment mark. As a Capital Delivery Professional Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing complex water/wastewater projects, reviewing construction plans, and providing technical leadership to engineering staff. The role requires expertise in water/wastewater design and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with both internal teams and external stakeholders, coordinating projects from pre-development through post-construction phases.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of civil engineering experience, including 2 years of project management in water/wastewater projects. You'll need a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and Professional Engineer registration in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
