The position involves managing and reviewing capital improvement projects related to water/wastewater pipeline design and construction. The ideal candidate will be a highly energetic professional with strong expertise in water/wastewater design and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The role comes with an attractive compensation package ranging from $86,611 to $101,824 annually, plus a $5,400 sign-on bonus split between the first pay period and 6-month employment mark. Responsibilities For Civil Engineer

  • Review construction plans for residential, commercial, and industrial developments
  • Manage complex water/sewer projects from pre-development to post-construction phase
  • Interpret TCEQ design requirements
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering technicians and staff
  • Supervise and coordinate section's day-to-day activities
  • Oversee pre-development meetings, plats, and various cases
  • Analyze and resolve planning/development-related problems
  • Coordinate with Field Operation staff on construction issues

Requirements For Civil Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Four years of civil engineering experience as a registered professional engineer
  • Two years performing project management in water and wastewater projects
  • Professional Engineer registration in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and time management skills
