The position combines technical expertise in civil engineering with a focus on stormwater and water resources engineering. You'll be involved in transformative projects like the 250-acre Panther Island development and the billion-dollar Fort Worth Stockyards mixed-use development.

Key responsibilities include preparing flood studies for FEMA submission, managing drainage and grading design, handling floodplain modeling and permitting, and overseeing stormwater system modeling and planning. You'll work with industry-standard software like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and EPA SWMM.

Requirements For Civil Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Four (4) years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience
  • Two (2) years in Stormwater or Water Resources Engineering
  • Professional Engineer registration in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Pro, and GIS
  • Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modelling software
  • Experience with FEMA floodplain regulations and modeling
