Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Clarion is building an advanced AI communication layer for healthcare, focusing on automating complex workflows to help overwhelmed clinics better manage patient communications. As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you'll join a clinician-led founding team in New York, working on cutting-edge AI technology to transform healthcare communication.

The role involves developing voice and SMS engagement tools, creating staff monitoring applications, and scaling a conversational AI platform. You'll work with modern technologies including NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL, while integrating with various healthcare systems and handling HIPAA compliance requirements.

The company has strong backing, having raised $5.3M from notable investors including Accel, Y Combinator, and Sequoia scout. They're experiencing rapid growth, serving dozens of customers including virtual care companies and major health systems, with revenue quadrupling in recent months.

This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and AI, solving critical communication challenges that affect millions of patients and providers. You'll be working directly with experienced founders - Dr. Ryan Gallagher (Stanford/Harvard-trained physician) and Jeffrey Lamothe (ex-Amazon Alexa, Salesforce).

The compensation package is competitive, including a salary range of $150K-$190K, meaningful equity (0.50%-1.50%), and comprehensive benefits including fully covered healthcare, flexible time off, and 401(k).
