Sr. Fullstack Engineer

ClassDojo's long-term goal is to give every child on Earth an education they love. As a Sr. Full-stack engineer at ClassDojo, you'll help build systems to support rapid growth, working on production code from day one in a pair programming environment. You'll deploy often, move quickly, and have your work used by millions of students, teachers, and parents worldwide. You'll also help develop a high-quality engineering culture valuing rapid iteration, collaboration, and best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
• Located in the Americas time zone
• Excited about fast-paced environments
• Ownership mindset with comfort in responsibility and accountability
• Thoughtful about creating and maintaining world-class engineering culture
• Works well in teams, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product teams
• Enjoys pair programming
• Passionate about education and impacting millions of kids' lives

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Node at scale
• Worked with MongoDB or MySQL
• DevOps experience, especially on AWS
• 7+ years of professional software experience
