Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

CLEAR, a leader in digital and biometric identification, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of products that go beyond just ID and enable members to leverage the power of a networked digital identity. As a Senior Software Engineer at CLEAR, you will participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of applications to build and enhance our platform, which interconnects dozens of attributes and qualifications while keeping member privacy and security at the core.

Our tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, React, and Postgres, all running on AWS cloud infrastructure. You'll be working with cloud-based application development, using technologies like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools such as Github, Argo, and Jenkins.

In this role, you will:

• Advance our capabilities across various industries and domains, gaining hands-on experience with privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture
• Develop and deliver code across the full stack, driving engineering excellence by defining best practices in testing, documentation, and observability
• Partner with product and other stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems
• Have a strong sense of ownership, be responsible for architectural decision-making, and strive for continuous improvement in technology and processes at CLEAR

We're looking for someone with:

• 6+ years of software development experience in Python, Javascript, and related technologies (React, TypeScript)
• Experience with cloud-based application development and fluency in cloud services providers like AWS, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like Github, Argo, and Jenkins
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to a mixed audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience collaborating and mentoring less experienced team members
• Comfort with ambiguity and curiosity about technology, with a belief in constant learning and the ability to be autonomous in figuring out what's important
