Senior Software Engineer - Risk Engineering

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Risk Engineering (RENG) team, you'll play a crucial role in measuring portfolio risk for both clients and the firm. You'll implement real-time P&L, risk, and margin calculations, ensure timely End-of-Day calculations, and work closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. You'll also collaborate cross-functionally to integrate with existing systems and optimize performance for large-scale financial data processing.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of professional software engineering experience, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, microservices architecture, and AWS services. Experience in the financial domain, particularly in risk and margin systems for brokerage platforms, is preferred. You'll work with a cutting-edge tech stack including Apache Flink, Docker, Kubernetes, and Snowflake.

Clear Street offers competitive compensation, with a base salary range of $170,000 - $240,000, plus bonuses and equity.
