Staff Software Engineer - iOS

CLEAR, a leader in digital and biometric identification with over 25+ million members worldwide, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Members organization. This role focuses on building the next generation of products that will expand beyond ID verification to enable networked digital identity capabilities.

The position involves working on the CLEAR Mobile app, where you'll be part of a team building amazing consumer experiences. You'll work with a modern tech stack including Swift/SwiftUI with TCA, along with various other technologies like Java, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL in an AWS cloud environment.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in advancing CLEAR's capabilities across various industries, with a focus on privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality code across the mobile stack while maintaining engineering excellence through proper testing, documentation, and observability practices.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of software development experience, particularly with Swift, and has a strong background in mobile application development. You should be comfortable working in agile environments, able to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, and have experience mentoring team members.
