Lead Growth Software Engineer

Clearstory is revolutionizing the commercial construction industry by digitizing and automating the change order process. As a Lead Growth Software Engineer, you'll spearhead a growth engineering team in our Walnut Creek office, working hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The role focuses on building customer-facing software, improving UX, onboarding, and tracking usage behavior.

You'll be instrumental in building solutions for a trillion-dollar commercial construction industry, working on projects that directly impact customer acquisition and retention. The position offers unique technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our SaaS-based offering.

The company is at Series B stage with proven product-market fit and a growing user base. You'll work on critical initiatives like optimizing the contractor invitation experience, implementing A/B testing, analyzing user patterns, and developing new collaboration features. The role requires strong technical expertise in both frontend and backend development, with particular emphasis on React, TypeScript, and Node.js/Golang.
