Senior Backend Engineer

CleverTap is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of large-scale platform design, working with cutting-edge technologies like TesseractDB™, the world's first database built for customer engagement. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale various products within the CleverTap Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop server-side scripts and APIs for front-end engineers and microservices
• Optimize servers for speed and stability
• Implement security structures and generate reusable code libraries
• Create data storage solutions
• Work directly with the product team to define requirements and estimate delivery dates
• Document technical details for feature development

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in back-end development
• Strong knowledge of data structures, OOP concepts, and Java
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and AWS (preferred)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue (preferred)
• Knowledge of FCM and APNS services (preferred)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, including memory leak detection and GC tuning
