Senior Backend Engineer (Java & Mongo DB)

CleverTap is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and scaling various products under the CleverTap Platform umbrella.

We're looking for an engineering mindset that brings fresh ideas from areas such as large-scale platform design, analytics, data structures, security practices, and large-scale data retrieval and processing environments. You'll work closely with product managers, QA engineers, designers, and other software engineers to create robust backend solutions.

Your role will involve writing server-side code, optimizing for maximum throughput, generating reusable code libraries, and ensuring server stability and security. You'll also collaborate directly with the product team to define requirements, estimate delivery dates, and document technical details for development.

The ideal candidate should have 4-8 years of experience in backend development, preferably with Java, and 2+ years of experience with database development (NoSQL preferred). Proficiency in MongoDB, Redis, and AWS is essential, along with strong debugging skills and a solid understanding of data structures and system design.
