Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

ClickHouse, the company behind the popular open-source, high performance columnar OLAP database management system for real-time analytics, is seeking a Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their remote team. This role is part of the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team, which builds and manages the foundational blocks of ClickHouse Cloud data plane end-to-end.

As a Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and building robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure. You'll work on cutting-edge cloud-native platforms, automate cloud resource management, and collaborate closely with the core database development and security teams. Your role will involve improving the reliability and scalability of the cloud service, applying industry best practices, and designing security components.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems. Proficiency in languages like Go, C/C++, or Java is required, along with experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools. Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native edge services, and network security principles is highly valued.
