Senior Software Engineer - Hierarchy Squad

As part of the Hierarchy Squad, you'll be at the core of ClickUp's platform, working on tier 1 services and the ClickUp filesystem. We're looking for passionate engineers with strong critical thinking and technical skills to help scale our high-throughput services. You'll be working with technologies like TypeScript, Postgres, Kafka, and NestJS on AWS.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building features and systems with a focus on detail and performance
• Owning end-to-end development from conception to production
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class product
• Identifying and implementing system improvements
• Contributing to a fun, fulfilling engineering culture

We're seeking candidates with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in high-performance, high-throughput systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with SQL, event-based systems, and cloud services (preferably AWS)
• Strong communication skills and product-minded approach
