Senior Software Engineer, Imports

ClickUp is seeking a driven senior software engineer to join their Imports team. As a Senior Software Engineer, Imports at ClickUp, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering scalable importers from other platforms. This position is ideal for an accountable, pragmatic, and invested go-getter who thrives on new challenges and enjoys delivering customer value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and enhancing import integrations for customer data migration from other systems to ClickUp (both frontend and backend)
• Consolidating architectural solutions for a uniform, scalable, and maintainable system
• Advocating, creating, and maintaining internal APIs
• Identifying improvements in the design and implementation of various new and existing importers
• Collaborating with DevOps/SREs to improve infrastructure setup
• Working within an agile scrum-based engineering team
• Prioritizing customer results and satisfaction in all aspects of the role

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of API standards, design approaches, and integration patterns
• Proficiency with TypeScript and Angular
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Desirable skills:

• Pragmatic approach to software design, development & delivery
• Experience with Temporal, Cadence, or similar workflow management solutions
