Software Engineer, AppSec

This unique position offers an opportunity to work with a security team that partners directly with engineering teams, focusing on building and sharing defensive security features, secure infrastructure, and operational tools.

The role involves working at the intersection of security and development, helping to secure a platform built on Angular, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, all hosted in AWS. You'll be responsible for performing threat models, implementing security features, and building automation tools while acting as a "security player-coach" embedded within engineering teams.

As a Security Engineer at ClickUp, you'll contribute to the company's mission of helping organizations move swiftly and securely by creating secure paved paths. The position requires a blend of software development expertise and security knowledge, with opportunities to work on various aspects of the security landscape from prevention to response.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year of security-specific experience.
