Clinikally, India's leading digital health destination for Dermatology, Nutrition & Wellness, is seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of an innovative healthcare platform that is making a significant impact in the Indian healthcare sector.
The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in both web and mobile development. You'll be working directly with the Founder & CXOs (former leaders from Stanford, Cambridge, Hero & Allergan) to scale one of India's most exciting consumer health platforms. The position offers substantial responsibility across multiple areas, from growth to operations and product development.
As a Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the platform's web and mobile applications, focusing on doctor consultation booking, prescription flow, and e-pharmacy use cases. The role requires strong proficiency in modern technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Mobile development experience, particularly with React Native, is essential.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, including team leadership experience. You should be comfortable with cloud platforms, understand DevOps practices, and have experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of healthcare-related applications and HIPAA compliance is valuable.

Responsibilities For Full-Stack Engineer (Lead)
- Develop custom web and mobile applications, including re-platforming given growing scale
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for web and mobile platforms
- Manage and mentor a growing team of developers
- Collaborate with product managers and designers
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security across all platforms
- Implement best practices in software development
Requirements For Full-Stack Engineer (Lead)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in full stack development, with time spent leading a team
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience with server-side technologies
- Proven experience in mobile app development, preferably with React Native
- Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Experience with LLM APIs a huge plus
