Description For Full Stack Engineer

Cloudflare is seeking a Full Stack Systems Engineer to join their Lisbon team to scale development efforts on network availability insights initiatives. The role involves building full stack data applications that empower the Product and Engineering team. You'll have the opportunity to get involved from designing features to implementation, working closely with Data Engineers to add new features and maintain data pipelines written in Go. The role requires interaction with various languages and technologies including Go, React, and Clickhouse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing key features of internal applications
  • Working with cross-functional teams to design solutions for critical business problems
  • Contributing to improving platform architecture for scalability, observability, and reliability
  • Continuous involvement in knowledge sharing and mentorship

The ideal candidate should have:

  • B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields
  • Experience with Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages
  • Knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems
  • Experience with Javascript, Typescript, and React
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Bonus skills include familiarity with container-based deployments (Docker & Kubernetes) and Google Cloud Platform.
