As a Senior Specialist Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing network solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients to assess their requirements, develop network architecture, and provide technical guidance through the sales engagement. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them find the best solution for their business needs with Cloudflare's Developer Services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding qualified prospects through the Solution Design and Proof of Concept stages of sales engagements
- Working with Solutions Engineer and Sales Partners to achieve Pipeline and Revenue goals
- Understanding customers' IT landscape and developing architecture to support their business needs
- Articulating the benefits of Cloudflare's Developer Platform product portfolio
- Promoting retention by capturing and communicating gaps in product or features
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of prior Technical Sales, full-stack Engineering, Cloud Developer or related experience
- Minimum 4 years software development experience delivering full-stack applications
- Advanced understanding of web applications and cloud architectures
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Strong understanding of systems design theory and practice for distributed, full-stack applications
- Good understanding of developer workflows and related services for monitoring, tracing, APM, and metric tracking
- Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize competing goals
