Solutions Engineer - iGaming and Entertainment

As a Solutions Engineer for iGaming and Entertainment, you will be the technical keystone through the entire sales cycle - pre and post sales. You will work closely with our Enterprise prospects and customers to educate, empower, and ensure their success on the Cloudflare platform.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leveraging technical expertise in Cloudflare's global distributed network and technology to find best-fit solutions for prospects
• Training and onboarding new customers via video-conference, in person, or through documentation
• Supporting the long-term success of customers
• Developing new firewall rules from log files
• Crafting performance caching and delivery strategies
• Creating or repurposing internal tools and scripts for customers

As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare. You will work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support, to create scalable solutions for your customer's needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Passion for technology and ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms
• Natural curiosity and willingness to get hands-on with technical challenges
• Understanding of "how the internet works," including TCP/UDP, DNS, firewalls, TLS (SSL), and HTTP
• Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash) is a plus
• Previous experience in a sales or consulting role is beneficial
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2 is advantageous
