Description For Technical Support Engineer

CloudQuery is a developer-first cloud governance platform specializing in Data Pipelines, Cloud Asset Inventory, and CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management). As a Series-B Startup, we're making significant impacts by powering data movement for SREs, platform, and security teams in Fortune 100 companies.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our customer-facing operations, working directly with our cloud governance platform. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while collaborating with customers, engineering, and product teams to ensure an exceptional user experience.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and security solutions. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer

  • Provide first level technical support via email, chat, video calls and Slack channels
  • Ensure compliance with support SLAs
  • Maintain and improve the support platform
  • Troubleshoot cloud governance, security, and compliance issues
  • Collaborate with engineering and escalate complex issues
  • Work closely with sales and customer success to support POCs
  • Assist in testing new releases and maintaining knowledge base articles
  • Stay updated on cloud technologies and best practices

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer

Python
  • 3+ years in technical support, system administration, or cloud operations
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and automation scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with SQL and data querying
  • Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and log analysis tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
