FinOps & Developer Experience Engineering Manager

CloudZero is seeking a dynamic FinOps evangelist and engineering leader to drive their internal FinOps strategy and manage their Developer Experience (DX) team. This unique position combines technical leadership with industry influence, perfect for a player-coach who can lead by example. As CloudZero's first dedicated FinOps engineer, you'll work closely with finance and engineering teams to optimize cloud costs, improve visibility, and drive cost efficiency. The role extends beyond FinOps to managing and growing the Developer Experience team, ensuring CloudZero's engineering organization operates at peak efficiency.

CloudZero, founded in 2016, is a SaaS platform at the intersection of cloud cost management and FinOps. The company helps organizations tackle one of today's biggest challenges - cloud cost management. Their platform ingests billing and usage data from all cloud, SaaS, and PaaS providers, organizing it in real-time according to customers' business structures. This enables informed business decisions and efficient cloud operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, FinOps/DevOps experience, and exceptional communication skills. You'll be expected to speak at industry events, contribute to the FinOps community, and lead initiatives that impact the entire engineering organization.
