Responsibilities For Principal Data Engineer - Office of CTO
- Develop and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures using Snowflake and modern technologies
- Lead the data engineering team in building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows
- Optimize Snowflake queries, data models, and storage
- Collaborate with analytics teams to integrate Looker and other tools
- Define and enforce data governance policies
- Provide technical mentorship to data engineers and analysts
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Requirements For Principal Data Engineer - Office of CTO
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years in lead/principal role
- Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and optimization
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
- Experience with Looker and other BI platforms
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong communication skills
