Machine Learning Research Engineer

Coactive is revolutionizing how businesses harness the power of machine learning to unlock the potential of unstructured data. As a Machine Learning Research Engineer, you'll work with a world-class team to build the foundation for understanding unstructured image and video data.

You'll be responsible for:

• Researching and productionizing cutting-edge techniques in data-centric AI and representation learning at scale
• Collaborating with engineers, researchers, and scientists to create algorithms for efficient, scalable search and analysis on large-scale unstructured data
• Building infrastructure for training and serving large-scale machine learning models on image and video datasets
• Tackling challenges at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and machine learning
• Building observability and monitoring infrastructure to ensure high availability of cloud services
• Shaping engineering best practices and company culture

Requirements:

• Masters (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience writing production-grade code in Python, Java, C++, or similar language
• 3+ years experience building application software on cloud native platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines for large scale ML training, monitoring, and serving
• Experience in developing data-intensive applications
• Experience with orchestration tools and infrastructure as code is a plus
