As a Level 3 Technical Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of providing critical technical support for the company's products, handling complex troubleshooting via multiple channels including ticketing systems, phone, and remote sessions. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer service skills, with a focus on detailed log file analysis and problem-solving for clients in the quick-service restaurant and retail industries.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of L2 support experience, strong Linux knowledge (particularly Ubuntu), and scripting capabilities in languages like Bash, JavaScript, and PHP. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential, as is experience with ticketing tools and a deep understanding of SLAs. You'll be working in a hybrid environment, collaborating with both internal teams and external clients to maintain service excellence.

Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer

  • Provide inbound technical support via ticketing tool, phone, email and remote sessions
  • Troubleshoot complicated issues and resolve software/hardware issues within defined SLA
  • Work with Internal operations/content team on escalated tickets
  • Maintain customer rapport and timely communication
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge base
  • Test and maintain Hardware devices
  • Create manuals and knowledge articles
  • Review and escalate bugs and defects
  • Perform network troubleshooting
  • Participate in process improvement discussions

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Minimum 2 years of L2 support experience in IT Industry
  • Background in IT systems, networking or hardware
  • Experience with ticketing tools
  • Excellent understanding of SLAs
  • Advanced Knowledge of Linux (especially Ubuntu)

  • Experience with server, hardware and software support
