The company specializes in combining human expertise with robotic technology to deliver comprehensive security solutions, providing 24/7 monitoring and incident resolution services.

As a Reserve Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our rapid-response field-operations team, serving as our "boots on the ground" for hardware-related issues at client sites. This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and customer service skills, as you'll be working directly with our sophisticated robotic systems and interacting with clients from Fortune 100 & 500 companies.

The position offers paid training to ensure you're fully versed in our robot hardware systems. You'll be responsible for addressing hardware failures, participating in new robot deployments, and maintaining our machines to the highest standards. The role operates on a flex/oncall schedule, primarily Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with occasional after-hours and weekend support required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about robotics and AI, with a strong foundation in computer hardware and electrical components. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $20-$50/hour DOE as a 1099 contractor position. Responsibilities For Reserve Engineer

  • Learn and maintain robot hardware through provided paid training
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical teammates regarding field repairs and projects
  • Address and resolve hardware failures on robots in a safe and timely manner
  • Assist with field operation projects and new robot deployments
  • Respond to client sites within assigned area for hardware failures 1-3 times monthly
  • Report to Regional Project Manager for tasking and delegation

Requirements For Reserve Engineer

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and assembly/disassembly
  • Familiarity with small electrical components
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability during Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (Flex/Oncall schedule)
  • Willingness to support after-hours (5pm-9am) and weekend jobs
  • Professional presentation skills for interaction with Fortune 100 & 500 clients
  • Strong customer service orientation
