Coco is revolutionizing urban logistics through their innovative fleet of on-demand delivery robots, connecting local restaurants with customers for efficient last-mile delivery. As a Founding Data & ML Infrastructure Engineer, you'll work directly with the CTO to build Coco's autonomy stack from the ground up.
The role focuses on developing and maintaining infrastructure for large-scale dataset management and training systems for autonomous robots. You'll be instrumental in improving the robot-to-pilot ratio, making last-mile delivery more accessible in urban areas. The position requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, ML frameworks, and data pipeline management.

Responsibilities For Founding Senior Data/ML Infrastructure Engineer
- Design and implement high-performance data engine for valuable data sample identification
- Build tools and pipelines for data extraction, cleaning, and curation
- Enable seamless interaction with large-scale datasets
- Collaborate with autonomy and AI engineers on query layer and model training workflows
- Build and maintain dataset management tools
- Architect and manage infrastructure for model training and experimentation
- Create systems for dataset tracking and governance
Requirements For Founding Senior Data/ML Infrastructure Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience with cloud infrastructure for large-scale data processing and model training (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Excellent programming skills and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, versioning, and data management best practices
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Experience with data management tools (DVC, Delta Lake)
