As a Founding Senior ML Engineer, you'll work directly with the CTO to build Coco's autonomy stack from the ground up. You'll be responsible for developing cutting-edge machine learning models that power autonomous vehicle systems, working with various sensors including LiDAR and cameras. Responsibilities For Founding Senior ML Engineer
- Develop architecture and implementation of ML models for autonomous vehicle systems
- Design and implement algorithms for object detection, sensor fusion, and path planning
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for multiple sensors
- Train and optimize deep learning models using simulation and real-world data
- Build simulation environments to test driving scenarios
- Ensure autopilot system adheres to safety standards
- Lead and mentor a high-performance machine learning and autonomy team
Requirements For Founding Senior ML Engineer
- 7+ years experience in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or autonomous systems
- Proven track record of training and deploying a real world neural network
- Expertise in autonomous driving or robotics systems techniques (SfM, SLAM, mapping & localization, RL, imitation learning)
- Expertise in training and deploying deep learning models
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C++, practical experience with PyTorch
- Experience in optimizing large-scale ML models and deploying them on distributed cloud/edge infrastructure
- Strong leadership and communication skills
