As an AI Research Engineer, you'll join a small team working on ambitious GenAI and RL projects. The role involves working on large-scale LLM post-training/finetuning, RLHF, RLAIF, decoding-time techniques, steerability, and code representations. You'll contribute to core infrastructure, conduct experiments, and have opportunities to publish research. Responsibilities For AI Research Engineer
- Help build robust, scalable infrastructure and tooling
- Contribute to core models and frameworks
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments
- Create high-quality datasets (both in-the-wild and generated)
- Perform literature reviews and implement new techniques from papers
- Contribute to publications and grant proposals
- Present at conferences, workshops, etc.
Requirements For AI Research Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- At least one of the following: a) 1+ years in an AI research or product role with a track record of training and deploying deep learning models, or b) 3+ years in a full-stack software engineering role
- Comfortable programming in Python and familiar with frameworks such as PyTorch and HuggingFace
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (preferred)
- Lead author publications at peer-reviewed conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc. (preferred)
- Experience with large-scale LLM training, particularly in a distributed computing environment (preferred)
